Why does it display artwork at random and not the music currently being played? Can this be changed? Thanks!
-
Play Doctor builds playlists. It's independent of artwork.
Could you post a screenshot of where you're talking about?
-
I'm guessing here, but you probably want:
Tools > Options > Theater View > Appearance > Theme > Online Media Slideshow
-
I only use playdoctor to play a random list, as per the screenshot. You can see the artwork at the top, which just rotates every second or so at random. I want it to just display the current song (http://i41.tinypic.com/jb3er8.jpg)

Does your playlist (random list) contain references to Image files? MC will rotate through the images in a mixed-type playlist.
-
I don't know? I just double click to play at random. There is artwork in each underlying folder of course. But surely it is possible for it to just display what song is currently playing
-
Right click on the screen and see what visualization you're using.
-
Aha, I right clicked and then clicked on cover at, and now it displays what is playing, great news! Thanks

Although now I've discovered it goes back to random once I close the programme, how do I set this permanently?
Thanks
