During COVID I bought a master license. (My first purchased version had been back in 2002). I hadn't updated in quite a while (13 I believe), but I bought a master license (at a discount) since I ran on Linux (and sometimes Windows). Now I have all 3 OSes (with the addition of a Mac) with my Linux laptop acting as my media server. I found I'd rather pay for a player/ripper than have a free one report my usage. In addition it's the only player that has such fantastic playback and can keep up with my [almost] 24,000 music files ripped from my CD selection.
