Title: SOLVED - JRiver no longer sees my DLNA client - What have I done?
Post by: Boomzilla on May 10, 2018, 06:23:52 pm
Everything worked fine - now it doesn't.  The client (Oppo UDP-205) can see the internet; JRemote (running on an iPad) can see the internet; the server computer (MacBook Pro) can see the internet; the AirPort Express (used as a connection to the iPad) can see the internet.  But JRiver server isn't seeing the Oppo.  I'm using "Generic DLNA" which has always worked before.  The Oppo lights indicate that the Ethernet connection is live.

Any ideas?

Thanks - Boomzilla

That they all have an Internet connection doesn't guarantee that they can see each other.  This could be a general network problem.

The first thing to try is to power everything down and back up, including the network.
