Title: Should I take a double back-up of JR files before reinstalling iOS?
Post by: okvaal on May 15, 2018, 01:35:16 pm
Being new to Mac, I'm a bit nervous before doing a reinstall of my OS using Time Machine. Could I rely on TM doing a decent job, or are there files I should do an extra backup of before starting? (And, in case, which files and where are they stored?)

Tia.

Media Center's library only consists of the database of your files and the settings you have configured, so backing it up will not back up your media files. If you have the ability to do so, multiple backups won't help.
If you want to back up the library (not media files) you can do this via File > Library > Back Up Library.
