Apologies if there was a better place for this. But there isn't a forum to discuss the forum, so here it is.
I have had some issues with finding stuff in the forums over time, where search just didn't seem to find stuff that I know should be there.
Today I had a specific example, searching for "UTF-8". I could only find five results, with the most recent a year ago. I'm sure I have seen more threads than that with it mentioned, and I had just been posting the term in a thread yesterday. http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=99845.0
My first mention of UTF-8 in that thread is over 12 hours ago, and yet it doesn't show up in an Advanced Search. A Google search of the forum site shows a lot more unique hits as well, with a few this year.
So, is there something wrong with the forum indexing or search function?
