Title: Linux kernel
Post by: AlienKing on August 18, 2022, 05:25:13 pm
Guys,

Thanks a lot for the fine piece of software that JRiver for Linux represents. I used to find a 5.10.103-jl+ kernel from JRiver but I'm unable to recall on which web page I've found it.

Can you please give me a refresher? So that when new kernels are released, I follow them from time to time.

Plus, can you please tell me what is basically under the hood of these JRiver kernels?

Thanks a lot!

I have no idea what you downloaded back then. You don't need a special kernel for MC. If they ever made a kernel would be news to me.

Yeah, Media Center has never released a Linux kernel or anything like that. Linux kernels are handled by the Linux distribution you're using. Are you using an Id or something like that? It's hard to say what you could be referring to, so it might help if you explain in as much detail as possible.

Did you try a Google search?  That has nothing to do with JRiver.
