Post by: KingSparta on December 31, 2007, 06:06:44 pm
Happy New Year!

Please Don't Drink And Drive, But have a good time...

It Sounds morbid, but I always like to see who died in the year, and recently found that On wikipedia they acualy have some pages that cover the year of deaths.

Category:2007 deaths

Hi King,

Kurt Vonnegut died this year, I will miss his writing. When I clicked on your link, the first name I saw was John Backus. I knew I recognized it, but my first thought was Mr. Magoo aka Thurston Howell III aka the drunk pilot in "it's a mad mad mad mad world", but that was Jim Backus. John Backus led the team that developed fortran, and was inventor of Backus-Naur form (which always made me think of Mr. Magoo when I was learning it in college).

Happy New Year to all, especially you and Sue

King,
Thought of you Friday when we missed our connection to the Caribbean, and spent the night in Charlotte, NC.

Happy New Year from The Turks and Caicos (http://pix01.com/5I@bMoT) (East of Cuba and North of Haiti).
