Title: Lyrics come along with formatting information
Post by: Stanley on September 27, 2021, 01:13:18 pm
Dear users and JRiver Team

After ripping a CD I always lookup for Songtext and let JRiver analysing the songs.
Since weeks or so, I do not know exactly since when, the lyrics comes with a lot of text. I think this are informations about formatting or so.
Has there anything changed? Or is it a thing of AZLyrics or https://www.w3.org/?
I had to stop finding lyrics automatically.

Example 1:
<span jsname="Bil8Ae" class="xTFaxe IjabWd z1asCe SaPW2b"
style="height:18px;line-height:18px;width:18px"><svg focusable="false" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg"
viewbox="0 0 24 24"><path d="M12 8c1.1 0 2-.9 2-2s-.9-2-2-2-2 .9-2 2 .9 2 2 2zm0 2c-1.1 0-2 .9-2 2s.9 2 2 2 2-.9
2-2-.9-2-2-2zm0 6c-1.1 0-2 .9-2 2s.9 2 2 2 2-.9 2-2-.9-2-2-2z"></path></svg>

Example 2:
<svg focusable="false" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" viewbox="0 0 24 24"><path d="M10 6L8.59 7.41 13.17 12l-4.58 4.59L10 18l6-6z"></path></svg>

Sometimes there is no lyrics but 4 or 5 times this text above.

Does anyone know?
How can you get that away?

Thanks

Stanley

Lyrics change often so you'll need to run the latest MC28 for the best support.

If I would upgrade to 28. Whats about the WDM driver? Do I have to install it again?
And how do I save all the settings.

It's free to try.  Settings are moved automatically.  You might need to turn WDM on, but that's no big deal.
