Hi, I see where this can be configured for the local zone but not how to do it via DLNA - the setting seems to be missing from the media network configuration screens. Does setting it for the "player" zone also apply for remote zones, or is it irrelevant for remote zones? Thanks!!

Please describe your setup.

Jim,
Apologies, am just seeing your reply. I am using MC29 on Windows 11 to stream via ethernet to a PS Audio Bridge II. And it all works fine, I am just not seeing an option where the DLNA is configured to specify memory playback. Can provide screen caps if that would help. (I am aware also that there is no self-evident reason why this would improve the sound, i just figure I'd like to try it if I can. :))
Thanks!

I do not think you can set memory playback for DLNA.
It is not in DSP over DLNA, nor in any of the other Media Network options that I can find. The only place I see it is in setup of direct connect audio devices, like usb devices.

You're probably right. It would need to be done by software on the renderer.

Ok, no prob. Thanks!!!
