Title: Custom Views Not Showing in JRemote
Post by: moosehunt63 on October 12, 2013, 02:05:12 pm
Hello, I added a custom view to the tree for 24 Bit music using the method shown here (http://www.computeraudiophile.com/f11-software/j-river-tips-and-techniques-user-experiences-repository-13684/). The view works great in JRiver itself, but I cannot get it to show up in JRemote. Is this a bug or feature that isn't yet working on the Mac side (Version 19.0.55) JRemote version 2.42? Or, as is quite possible am I missing some key step. Thanks for the help!

Did you configure the view in Tools > Options > Media Network > Advanced > Customize views for Gizmo & WebGizmo... ?

Yes, I added it, and it is in the file tree list under the advanced options.

Try shutting down and restarting JRiver MC

I've found that it sometimes only updates if you restart the server from jremote.

Ian, thanks! Restarting the server from within JRemote did the trick.
