Title: IPTV crash in 28.0.103
Post by: HansVanEijsden on January 22, 2022, 08:29:05 am
Thanks for the update. Today I started to experiment with setting up IPTV for the first time.
Unfortunately JRiver crashes while importing an m3u playlist.

Steps:

MacOS Monterey 12.1 (21C52), Intel iMac (27-inch, Late 2012), 3,4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2 GB.
JRiver 28.0.103.

I can reproduce it 100% of the time, also with other m3u playlists. I also checked permissions in System Preferences->Security and Privacy->Privacy->Full Disk Access, the app is there.
I attached the crash log to this message. Let me know if you need more information and/or if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks.

Update. When I enter "/Users/hans/Downloads/NL01_NETHERLANDS.m3u" in the location field in stead of browsing to it with the Browse button, it works and imports, without crashing.

Most of the IPTV discussion has been on the Windows board so far.

Yaobing's instructions are in the first thread there.
