I have quite a collection of MP3 files and have been using MJB and MC to library them. This year I also downloaded wma tracks from Napster and Musicmatch to the same PC. I like to keep my MC artist / album folder structure for the files. So I move the napster / musicmatch files from their default locations to the artist / album folders I create. Then I'd re-import new location back into MM for safety. Everything was working fine and I could play everything from MC.
I just bought a new PC and copied all the tracks over the network to it giving the same
folder structure and imported them into MC. Now the Napster/MusicMatch wma files no
longer play thru MC. MC croaks with the following message:
windows media error: unable to obtain a license
how do I get the wma tracks I paid for to play on MC on my new PC?
Note get same error with Windows Media Player.

The files are protected with encryption. Check with Napster or MusicMatch to see if you can move them to a second PC.
