Title: External Input?
Post by: jdubs on December 28, 2022, 03:00:58 pm
Hey all

Can I use an external device with the Linux version of JRiver?  I haven't used JRiver in a while...but have recently started fooling around with audio in Linux, specifically CamillaDSP.

I miss the library management of JRiver, but I really need something that works with an external input.  I have a turntable that I run through a Cosmos ADC.

Bummer!!

Hopefully that functionality is incorporated at some point.

Yes, it is rather a gap. It has been a long standing feature request unfortunately. However cd ripping is another long standing gap which has just recently been filled so a reason to be optimistic for 2023 :)

Fingers crossed!!  I really miss the library management of JRiver and would love to have it back  ;D
