Title: 'my computer' not visible
Post by: kokoke3 on June 21, 2017, 06:59:49 am
Hello there

Since I installed MC22 for mac, the icon 'my computer' doesn't show up anymore in the left pane.
In drives and devices I can only use USB sticks, but no external hard drives.
Can you help me out with this problem?

I'm not sure what you're describing.  Maybe a screen shot would help.

Brian.

Hey Brian, thanks for the response.
Like you can see, there is no 'my computer' icon in the list. I want to use my external hard drive for copying a play list I created, which cannot be found, while the drive is in the finder window.

"My Computer" is a windows thing.  You don't typically see that used anywhere on Mac interfaces.  Maybe you're used to the Windows version of MC?

Drives and Devices work differently in MC for Mac.  If you are trying to import a Playlist from an external drive, just do File > Import Playlist and navigate to it.  If you're trying to export a Playlist, just do File > Export Playlist, fill out the form and direct it to the correct drive.

Hopefully that will get you started.  Good luck!

Brian.

Thx

In fact it's simple.
Just copy the entire playlist and paste in the finder window.
