Title: Too much noise when playing cds using JRiver 28

Hello i have a JRiver 28 and its up to date,
I'm having a problem when playing cds with jriver on my cd drive, the cd get too hot and also spin at an incredible level that scarys me.
When i use foobar to play the same cd the cd plays very quiet and the sound its just the same.
It's a bug?  my dirve is an OPTIARC DVD RW AD-7280S
