I have JRiver running an audio system via a LAN at my cabin in the North Woods of Wisconsin. Beautiful place. No internet connectivity. When attempting to link Gizmo to MC by entering the Access Key, I receive an error message that says I must be connected to the Internet.
Question: how can I get Gizmo working together with MC at this beautiful but technologically challenged location? Thanks in advance for the assistance!

Use the local/internal IP address of the server MC is running on, and not the access key. The access key method won't work without an internet connection.
Like for mine, the address I use to access my server via remote app is 192.168.1.132:52199 (which, yes, you do have to add the port on the end for it to work) but remember this is just an example in my case and your local/internal IP address for the device will be different.

If you're using Windows to run MC on, you can get the IP address this way: https://kb.netgear.com/20878/Finding-your-IP-address-without-using-the-command-prompt
You want the IPv4 IP address and not any other IP address listed (e.g. don't use the IPv4 gateway or IPv4 DNS IP addresses).
