Guys should JRiver Bit Exact dithering be set to on or off when using madvr dithering?
-
As far as I know as one does audio and the other video so it shouldn't matter.
As a general rule whether it be audio or video, always dither.

But how do you set for TPDF as I only see one setting and that's Bit Exact dithering?

Update JRiver. You must be running a very old version.

I actually found it in the end in the dropdown, so I turned it ON. What does it actually do rather than the default setting and why is it better?

Does this feature affect 24bit/ 192Khz files? As I understand Dithering is not needed for 24 bit files.
