Title: Trial Version Problem with USB-transfer to D/A Converter
Post by: bikebruckmuehl on December 19, 2021, 04:21:44 pm
Hallo,
at first, sorry about my rusty and simply English.
My Components:
Mac Notebook
mac OS BigSur
D/A Converter North Star Design
Amplifer
I had sucsessfully installed JRiver and I have loaded my music-files. JRiver plays the music only over the Notebook-intern Speakers, but not over the USB-Connection to the Converter. What is my mistake? Is it a Problem because of the Trial-Version?
I have a second music-Player (Audirvana). With this works the output to the USB without Problems.
Have anybody an idea what to do?
Best regards
Bernhard

Set MC to use a specific audio device.  Choose your USB DAC as your audio device.

Tools > Options > Audio > Audio Device

After you select the device, you might have to quit and restart MC for it to take effect.

Good luck!
Brian.

Hallo Brian,
thank you very much. It Works! It makes my Day.
I want to use JRiver. A friend of mine and a musician recomment me this, because I am not very satisfied with Audirvana.
Best Wises to you and peaceful days on Christmas
Bernhard

I'm very happy that worked for you.  :)

JRiver MC is without a doubt, the most powerful media center program available.  The Expression Language, Views, and it's tools are just incredible.  In particular, the Library backups and the Rename, Move, and Copy Files tool are really great.  Hopefully you will come to love the program.

Best wishes for Christmas and holidays to you as well!

Brian.
