We're spending some time tuning performance on Mac.
The program is built from the same code on both platforms, so we are hoping for the same great performance (http://jriver.com/speed.html).
Today was the first day we tested this hope.
We're testing using a Mac Mini 2012 quad-core. To measure performance, we're using JRMark (the benchmark built into Media Center). You can see how Windows machines score here:

The day started with a 24 JRMark image score and 540 overall -- not good. But some quick work on the core multi-threading system, memory allocator, and SSE assembly brought things into line.
We're now seeing a 2757 JRMark, which is close to what the machine would get on Windows.

So you are more productive on a Mac! ;D
Good job!
