Title: I can't delete Main library
Post by: Mastiff on October 06, 2020, 08:11:32 am
I am using a library named Mad Max (name of my boat), but when I use library manager to delete Main library (which I don't want there), it comes right back again. Bug or feature?  ;D

Feature.

MC must always have a Library in its default location. If it is deleted in the OS, MC will recreate it.

If you really don't want to see the Main Library next to the Mad Max Library, there is an easy fix.

1. Back up your "Mad Max" Library.
2. Rename your "Mad Max" Library "Mad Max OLD".
3. Rename the Main Library "Mad Max".
4. Restore the Library Backup you just made into the newly named "Mad Max" Library.
5. Delete the "Mad Max OLD" Library.

Now you have only one Library in the default location, and it is named "Mad Max".

Done.

Thanks! Then I know. :) I am actually experimenting with having the library on the hard drive instead of the Micro SD to see if that works faster, which is why I discovered this. :) But I may go back to having it on the SD Card, I can't see any changes. So I'll try with an USB 3.0 SSD instead of that MicroSD, and then I can use your version.
