Title: DSP Studio output encoding turned to 'none' there's nothing just buzzing
Post by: johnnystrike on April 10, 2018, 01:24:17 pm
My old av receiver died a few days ago, i'm low on budget now so i bought a used one. After about an hour playback the music 'turned into buzzing sound', like an analog radio between two channels, and nothing else. I use PC and S/PDIF for connecting the hardwares. The buzz volume depends on the volum level and it appears only when i use JRiver and the DPS output encodig is set to 'none' - with Dolby Digital there's no problem and the other programs what i'm using - like foobar, spotify, youtube, etc - works perfect too. I'm realy a dilettante in theme, just a music lover.
Can the problem be from the DAC or the receiver or something else?
