Title: Audiolab M-Dac And Movies
Post by: tess on September 24, 2017, 03:28:37 pm
Hi there. I have an Audiolab M-Dac Connected via USB. I also have JRiver 23. When I play my music files, I obviously have the audio device in JRiver set to M-Dac Wasapi, for the best quality. My question is. Do I keep this setting when watching movies on my hard drive.( I have a 4k tv as my monitor) Or do I have to change the setting to M-Dac Direct sound. I just want to do everything right. Which one would be okay for movies? I don't really want to keep changing settings, but of course, if I should, then I will. I don't want to ruin my new M-Dac. I have my M-Dac connected to my Sony 4k tv via digital optical cable. I use that when watching Netflix, you tube etc. I just want to know best settings for my movie files on my pc. I would really appreciate any help on this matter. If you can help me, please can you explain so that I can understand.
I hope that I have explained myself properly.
Thanking you all in advance.
