Title: Task running error [Solved]
Post by: aliciaviola on March 03, 2020, 05:14:04 am
since the last build 26.0.29 there is a strange behaviour: I updated the tags (from library) and then wanted to update the library (from tags) but every time I wanted to do that got the notice that there already a task is running (as you can see in the attached file).
Any idea?

Frank

I'd guess it's probably still updating the tags from the library so it can't do the reverse yet.
How many files are you updating?
Are they writeable?
Stored locally or remote?

10 minutes for 20 files would be a bit long. I am working now for some years with MC but never had that before.

Yes, I can write in the tag fields, listen, change tracks....

Locally

Ok, thanks. I'll see what we can find.

It should show what file it's working on in the toolbar at the bottom of the program.

If it's still working on the last job, you'll see that message.

Once it says "Finished" on the bottom toolbar you can run again.

After some re-starts of MC all works in the usual way. Don't know what happened...
