I want to create a plugin for on screen display like McTOSD for winamp but don't have a clue on how to start.  if anybody can please help me i would really appreciate it.

I'm not able to give an answer. I just want to give the hint to have a look at "Playing Now (http://accessories.jrmediacenter.com/mediacenter/accessories.php)" Plugin. Perhaps this already is what you're looking for so you can save lot of time...

i already tried that one but what im looking for is more of a display i can keep on top with my own fonts and settings but thank you anyways
