Hey all,
I only have a couple iTunes Music Store tracks and mostly listen to them on my iPod. I know about six months ago they would play in MC.
However, right now if I click on an iTunes Music Store track I don't get an error or anything, but MC just disappears! No errors, no music playing... just the end of MC (until I start it up seconds later because I can't live without it!).
Was there something I missed?

Dan,
Do you have Quicktime installed and if so do the files play in Quicktime?
Steve

Yeah, SteveG, I have QuickTime and iTunes, both the latest versions. I opened up one of the files in the QuickTime Player and it played just fine.

Dan,
Can you post a link to one of the files that is failing and I will purchase it and see if I can play it?
Thanks,
Steve

OK, this time I tried to play "Live Is For Living (Live)", an exclusive track on iTMS by Coldplay. And this time Windows gave me an error. I suppose the "Send Error Report" button does little for y'all, so I'll post some of it here:
Well, there's the "Error Signature" field:
AppName: media jukebox.exe AppVer: 10.0.161.0 ModName: quicktime.qts
ModVer: 6.5.1.17 Offset: 001095b9
I dunno how to copy or paste the rest of it in here, so hopefully that helps.

Oh wait... I got it working.
I thought I checked it a couple days ago, but I decided to check for updates to QuickTime and it found some Indeo Video 5 or something which it downloaded. Then QT worked. And iTMS tracks work in MC now.

Dan,
Glad all is working now. Thanks for letting me know.
