Title: Streaming audio
Post by: clifftaylor on February 15, 2015, 11:45:52 am
At least I think that's what it is - I installed the MC yesterday, and can play (and fiddle with) all of the music on my laptop; what I'm struggling with is using it to listen to Internet radio, which I do a lot. If I'm listening to, for example, Radio 3 via the BBC website, it's fine; if I try to listen via MC (File>open live) I can hear the music or whatever, but with a lot of echo, and the EQ seems to have no effect - which is mainly what I need MC for. Any ideas anyone??

Cliff

Do either of these help? Although the issues here were to do with connecting to the streamed audio in the first place.

Regarding echo, I'm doing these ones ...  ?

Late thought, you could play back using the BBC client and then feed the audio via MC using the WDM driver:

This Thread (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=95473.msg658451#msg658451) could be of interest, Hendrik plans to get the new HLS AAC streams working today  ;D
