Title: Genre Problem

I am having a problem with a jpg genre.
I use allway sync to synch to my computer with JRiver on it
Two of my picture keep using the wrong Genre no matter how many times I change it every time I sync it changes back.
How can i clear the genre? I dont want to delete the photo
