Title: Media Files from a different Version
Post by: bob620 on February 06, 2007, 02:49:01 pm
After having bought MC11 and using it for a while, I opened the program one day and was told my trial period had expired.  After I finally got the program restored, I tried to start the program and I got a message that the Media files were from a different version and needed to be removed.  The program closed, but the error message remained on the screen.  I went into Windows Explorer and tried to remove the library files, but was not able to remove them.  Do I need to download MC11 again?   Anyone have any ideas?   ?  I need to get the program going so I can burn some CDs.

Any help appreciated.

Try re-installing.  Use this build:
ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/old/MediaCenter111201.exe

If that doesn't work, uninstall MC (removing registry entries), reboot, and reinstall.
