I found out that assets are not shown in jremote if a "&" is in the path name.
Which other characters should be avoided?

You have folder names with an & in them?
Are you then saying that the files in that folder don't show up in MC's library?
-
yes I have & in folder names.
all files, music and assets show in the library and music also plays from jremote, but the asset paper clip doesn't show up in jremote. as soon as I replace & by + in the folder name, asset clip gets visible

Oh I see, can you describe the "asset clip" to me? I don't know where that is in JRemote (I use mostly basic functions in JRemote).
-
if your in the "play now" screen on remote it's in the lower right corner of the cover picture when assets are available

Sorry, I can't find it. Can you attach a screenshot?

Ok, what are these assets and how can I get them to show in my JRemote?
-
Assets are PDF files, like scans of the booklet that comes with the CD, so you can read through it as you listen. I *think* maybe JPGs are supported too, but I'm not sure.
Brian.

The paper clip only shows up in JRemote on iOS. It's not there in JRemote on Android, which may be why bob is not seeing it.
-
Oh I see.
I am using JRemote on iOS.
Are the pdf's in the same directory as the music file?
-
that doesn't matter, both works without& in path name
