I would love to kiss iTunes good-bye...
Can MC19 for MAC sync my lossless music files (ALAC) to an iPod Classic?

Sorry, not currently.

My desire to junk iTunes led me to also junk my iPod Classic. I switched to the Astell & Kern AK120 which has a side benefit of playing high-resolution FLAC files. Everything is drag and drop so managing music files is easy.

I'd love a portable player that can handle hi-res, but I won't spend over $1,000 on a player that can only hold 90GB+. I have a mod'd iPod Classic that has 240GB capacity and can do lossless.

The AK120 will hold 192GB now and will have the ability to hold 320GB soon.
