Any chance to get this in JRemote to play Radio Paradise ore Radio JRiver lossless
-
Maybe. Did you try Panel?
-
Yes, but I do not like it and can not do all what I want
-
Have you used it recently? It continues to evolve.
You don't have to give up JRemote in order to use Panel.
-
no it's longer ago. you are right, it's faster than I remember and I can see Radio JRiver, what's about the rest like Radio Paradise?
it's an option for now but I hope I will have it in JRemote in the future, thanks
-
You should see Radio Paradise, too. You may need to use MC 24.0.41. It's on the MC24 board.
-
no, I have *41 64Bit, only Radio JRemote here
-
RP is available if you're playing to the Player. If you're playing Here, then only Radio JRiver is available.
-
not clear what you mean. Notebook with JRiver, connected to an IFI MICRO IDSD via USB as player, controlled by the iPad. makes no difference. Only Radio JRiver
edit: sorry panel settings were not correct, now it works, thanks
-
When you use Panel on one device to connect to MC on another, you can play either place. It has nothing to do with what audio device you're using.
-
I have tried it, works fine, thanks again
-
Any chance to get this in JRemote to play Radio Paradise, or any other streams
May I also stress my favor for including the Streaming section into JRemote.
I tried panel, but sorry, this is not an option for me with its ... interface (and why use two programs, when one would suffice?)
I would also like to mention that JRemote is the only reason for me to use MediaCenter 24 at all. My server is in a different room, therefore I do all my file handling with JRemote. And finally, up to now JRemote works very well on my iPad, so please continue with maintaining it.
-
From what I have seen, maintaining is the best we can expect, no real NEW developments
I agree without JRemote MC loses value

Other than using Panel (which is excellent, BTW, especially for devices without a dedicated remote app) if you're using Android, I'd suggest checking out the new JRiver remote, MO 4Media (https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,114964.0.html). It has one distinct advantage over JRemote/Gizmo/eos right now, which is gapless playback. It supports audio, videos and images. That and it's in active development with updates pushed out every so often. On its roadmap is Chromecast support, live TV support and Android TV support, which all would be great to see.
If you're using iOS, I'd suggest telling the author cncb that you'd like to see it ported to iOS. The more interested potential users, the better the chance of it getting ported to iOS.
You might want to also request that the streaming features (RP and RJ) are added too.
