Title: SACD Bit-Depth and Sample Rate
Post by: 6233638 on July 26, 2014, 05:35:34 am
Could you please set the bit-depth and sample rate for SACD files? (always 1-bit 2,822,400 Hz)

I've been trying to set up a smart-list that automatically plays the best version of an album, and without this information SACD tracks are being skipped over, rather than preferred.

The sample rate should be set for SACD tracks.

DSD tracks (DSF/DFF) do, but not SACD tracks. (ISO)

The SACD is in an ISO file?  Do we even play that?

Yes, though the file type is reported as "sacd" in Media Center's library.

SACD's have a bit of special handling, its not surprising it doesn't end up with a sample rate. Matt, I can look into that, I messed with the SACD code not too long ago.

Cool.  Have at it.
