Title: Ripping movies problems
Post by: Harroun4 on December 09, 2023, 07:02:32 pm
Perhaps this will help those ripping large numbers of movies. From time to time, I find a disc that difficult to rip. Over time have several ways to usually work around the problem. To be specific in one case the title History Channel Third Reich Rise & Fall, a two-disc set. The second disc no problem. The first always fails no matter what I do. Both will play in my Oppo players. Bought a second copy hoping that one disc was faulty. No luck using either MKV and AnyDVD. Trying very hard to find other options.

Tried with MKV, but setting to rip only the video and not the subtitles and audio. Voila, it worked. Next try with enable the audio. This works. Now when I enable the subtitles, fails.

Cheers
