Title: Radio on JRiver using bluetooth
Post by: monkman on April 10, 2018, 09:58:02 am
At one point, long ago in 23, the ability to connect to radio via Bluetooth to a wireless speaker worked well.  Most stations that I have saved simply are not available, but the few that are mostly suffer from dropouts.

I don't know exactly what you mean, but dropouts can be either a problem with the network or with the Bluetooth connection.  Bluetooth has a range of 30 feet or less.

Try posting a URL for a station that doesn't work, so that others can test for you.

First of all, thank you for your response, Jim.  Here are a couple of 'em.

Some nice Jazz, and interesting tracks from Radio Paradise.

No dropouts at all. Good quality audio.

No dropouts here either... I just went to another app for the Zenpad I use and tediously went through entering in the various stations.  Viola.  The tablet and cheapy wireless speaker play nice together.  Oh well, too bad it ends up to be one more reason to finally drift away from an outstanding piece of software, that of JRiver.  My other reason is Tidal and MQA, for these old, tired ears, the best combo I've ever used for true listening pleasure on my main system.
