Title: Need help configuring 5.1 output to M-Audio Fast Track Ultra
Post by: c10m on August 26, 2016, 01:19:58 am
Hi, can someone please explain how to route a 5.1 signal to the M-Audio Fast Track Ultra (i use 5 active monitors and 1 sub).
I mean how can assign, say, center or sub channel to the correct M-Audio output (number 3 or 4...).
In JRiver's Dsp i select 5.1 output...and then?
Thanks in advance.

MC will use the standard channel mapping to map L to channel 1, R to channel 2, etc.  If some, or all, of these are wrong, you can change things around in the DSP Studio > Parametric Equalizer.

Order Channels let's you move around the order.  Mix channels let's you do really sophisticated things like switching channel positions (swap L and R for example), move, mix, etc.  I would try Order Channels first and go from there.

Thank you very much indeed. Hope to be smart enough to manage the stuff.
