Title: Channel surfing does not allow full-circle
Post by: CZ Eddie on September 14, 2020, 03:12:06 pm
So I have just five channels.  The big Five.
Fox, NBC, ABC, CBS & The CW.

These are 7, 24, 36, 42 and 54.

If I start out at 7 and work my way up to 54, I cannot click the up arrow to go back to 7.
I must instead click the down arrrow four times to get back to 7.
Can we put in a feature request to allow you to go back to the beginning (lowest channel) after you hit the highest channel?

I hope this made sense.

I know I could use a remote control to punch in the channel number, or click the favorite channel, but if I have my mouse in hand and I'm just clicking up, up, up, up, it would be nice to go back to the beginning after I've exhausted all channels.

Do you do it in Theater view or standard view?  In Theater View's Guide grid, moving down past the last channel does bring you back to the top.  The reverse is true too.  This does not happen in Standard view.

I'm doing it in regular view, not theater.

I imagine Theater View is great for people watching with a remote control but I prefer to use my mouse and multi-task a little bit.

Would love to see the ability to go full-circle when changing channels.
And it would also be nice to see the channel changing buttons changed from "next" and "previous" to "up" and "down". And maybe have arrows pointing up/down instead of left/right.  :)
