Title: Media Center as client in headless mode
Post by: JHaycox on March 13, 2018, 01:42:57 pm
I am running Media Center on a Raspberry Pi 3B under Raspbian as a client to access music files on another system.  It is also a server to support remote control via JRemote running on an Android tablet.  It is set up to run headless.  It works great most of the time.  But one small wrinkle is that if the server is not available when the Raspberry boots Media Center displays a dialog asking what to do.  I have to connect to the Raspberry via VNC to get out of the dialog.

Can Media Center on the Raspberry be configured to periodically retry connecting to the server in the background and take down the dialog without manual intervention if successful?
