Title: What is a good sounding, single unit DNLA wifi renderer
Post by: ianhudson on April 18, 2022, 08:22:16 am
I stream to an old Sonos connect which goes digital out into a Cambridge Audio Dac 100 and into my stereo. I have a pretty decent stereo (all Densen products and Epos speakers), so I am thinking of upgrading the streaming gear.
What would be a good, single box solution that would work with JRiver and sound a lot better?

Thanks…..

I personally have Devialet D220 Pro. UPnP works without issues but its more than a DAC - Streamer.

A JRiver Id.
I was wondering about one of those, but they don’t have a dac, right?

It has a DAC, but you can use the USB connection to connect to any DAC.  There are a lot of good ones and some are very inexpensive.  Yours should work.
