I am having the same problem as torchxit. Have only used Media Jukebox for a couple of days but after I installed Internet Explorer 9RC today MJ started crashing on startup. I uninstalled IE9RC and MJ starts fine. There seems to be a conflict between the two apps.

so im not alone :D
any help ?

IE 9 is creating some issues. It has some compatibility problems.

i uninstalled media jukebox tell this problem fixed :| :-X

I think the problem is actually with IE9, not MC. And remember that IE9 is still in beta. The latest version is just a release candidate. My plan is to uninstall IE9 until the the problem is fixed by Microsoft. Of course JRiver may program around the problem before Microsoft fixes it.

Why not uninstall IE9 is there something that it can do that Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc can't do or don't do as well.
I have not looked into IE9 but I know that IE8 is the slowest of all the mainstream browsers.

I think the problem specifically is with IE9RC, because I had IE9Beta on my Win 7 64bit PC and MJ didn't crash. When I downloaded IE9RC the problems started. After uninstalling IE9RC, no further problems with MJ.

Same problem here, windows 7 32 SP1. Have done all the sugestions on uninstall, reboot, clean registry and again install. Nothing helps. What a pity.

The latest build of Media Center uses the Chromium browser engine so it works with IE9RC installed. It's available at the top of the MC16 board.
We will probably not try to apply these changes to MJ. Hopefully MS will fix IE9.
