Title: Can JRemote Play Music Files Stored On Your iPhone?
Post by: jsolo53 on March 08, 2019, 07:02:50 pm
The subject line says it.  Can JRemote Play Music Files Stored On Your iPhone?

Sometimes files don't finish transferring from my HTPC with MC to my phone (cellular only), so playback stops part way through the song.  It would be really nice if JRemote could play files stored on the phone - no need for wifi or cellular.  Is this available?

No. I would have hoped for them to at least allow the option of caching of files (for local playback when offline/disconnected) like many other NAS audio/music apps.

This is definitely a common feature that is MISSING in the JRemote app -- then again the name implies its just a 'remote' -- wish it could be better though.
