Title: Samsung TV DLNA Problem
Post by: cliff_g on March 02, 2012, 10:46:21 am
Using MC Version 16.0.181, Windows 7.

I have a Samsung 2010 Series 7 LED TV with DLNA rendering turned on.  If I open Windows Media Player and try to play a file to the TV which it finds automatically it just works - along with images and video files.

However if I try the same from Media Center the TV appears in the list of zones but I get error "There was a problem controlling the selected DLNA device" appearing.

Any ideas where I can start looking - very frustrating that WMP just works and MC does not :-(

Please try "DLNA Extra" or try MC17.

MC17 works OK - upgrading now :-)

Out of interest what has changed between 16 & 17 that may have resolved this?

Cheers
