It seems this has been asked before but I didn't see any answer.
So far ITunes with Audirvana and Amarra is my primary player. However, since I recently discovered integer mode in my JRiver 19 trial, I'm seriously considering migrating to JRiver much more.
However, apart from the ugly layout that is still lightyears away from what Mac software should look like, the key reason for staying with iTunes is the lack of syncronization of play counts with ITunes. I have a very large library and rely a lot on play counts for smart playlists, synchronizing new stuff to my iPhone, etc. etc.
The automatic import from an ITunes library is working really well, so would there be any possibility of automatically synching play counts between Jriver19 and ITunes?
