We cooked bratwurst on the sidewalk this week, thanks to you!
It was Matt's idea to celebrate a great week of sales, and a record day last Friday. We did more business this week than we've often done in a month. So we thought, what the heck, let's blow $20 on brats.
Yaobing wasn't there, but you can see my daughter, Anna, and John Thompson's son, Adam. John is sitting next to him. Matt's on the other side of the hibachi grill and Bob's on the right.
Thanks for the business, for the many kind words, and the stern words that keep us in line.

I feel that Steak and Shrimp K-bobs and Champain would have been more appropriate for the job that you guys have done.
Congrats on the latest success story!
-
But where's the beer? It should be prohibited to eat bratwurst without beer...
Congratulations, keep up the good work!

I guess out on the sidewalk it would be considered drinking in public. All we would need is for the JRiver Team go get thrown in jail! Could affect MC18 release date, and we wouldn't want that!
-
Sure! But as an european and german's food addict, it is hurting me to see brats without beer, a whole world is collapsing for me ;)

Livin' mighty high on the hog. Now get back to work.

So that's why Matt was asking us to get all our friends and family to upgrade on the same day. ;D Thanks, Matt, for the JRiver coffee mug.

Thanks everyone!
It's been a great year.
And because Jim's daughter spent most of the lunch telling us to pull our heads out of the sand and embrace Facebook and Twitter (or is that The Facebook and The Twitter?):

Proud to be the first, but all I do with Twitter and Facebook is follow things. I've never actually tweeted :-[
While social media is a bit out of control, it is finding a place in business so it's good that your daughter pushed JRiver into Facebook & Twitter. I too think you should embrace it. Just like in the past when a company was not considered a player if it did not have a website, the same will be true in the near future if you are not on Facebook & Twitter.
Following is a perfect example of how social media is out of control.

Don't forget Google+, while you're at it! :D https://plus.google.com
The community isn't as large there, but it's pretty fervent. Kind of like the MC community :)
-
I suggest you send an email out to your mailing list providing them with you Facebook & Twitter links. Also, you should make sure you have the links on your web page.

Thanks, Matt, for the JRiver coffee mug.
Oooooo... Do we get a coffee mug if we've upgraded at least 10 times in a row? ;)

No, no; I think the figure is 6 times in a row.

I think even 8 upgrades in a row is fair ;)

I'm 19th!

Celebrating is good for body and mind.
I wanted to participate, too. I can? hehehehehe, hahahahah
I am happy to be part of this community: family JRiver Media Center.
I wanted to know there are more Brazilians here. I am the only Brazilian licensed?
Regards,
Fabricio, from Brazil.

There are about 500 licenses in Brazil. Why don't you start a new thread and ask?

Friend JimH,
Good, many Brazilians here. I'm happy.
I created a thread, but got no answer (Brazilian):
