Hi Folks,
I am at an impasse. I purchased a Chromecast Audio for streaming to the AUX in on my B&W Zeppelin Wireless. The Chromecast is set up on the wireless net at an IP of 192.168.3.216 (DHCP). MC running on a computer on the same wireless network does not find the Chromecast.
I cannot figure our how to create a zone that identifies the Chromecast. Can someone please point me in the correct direction to figure this one out?
Thank you!

MC doesn't support Chromecast.
Please try searching here or on Google, adding JRiver to your search.

You need the BubbleUPnP server to create the DLNA renderer for the Chromecast device.

I did that and, although BubbleUPnP sees the device and I check the box to create a DLNA render which it does and says it's on the network, MC can't find it. Oh well I guess that's $35 down the drain. Caveat emptor I suppose ;D

I'll do that! Thanks much!

You should be able to get that to work. It could take a few minutes.

Make sure all DLNA options are checked in MC.

Sky King... I have 2 chromecast II devices in my network working ok in JRiver, thanks to bubbleupnp server.
Don't give up so easily...
They appear as dynamic zones all by itself, I didn't have to do anything in JRiver excepting to configure DLNA in the network properties subsection.
I had to enable them as dlna renderers in bubbleupnp server, that's all

Works fine for me following those instructions. Keep trying.

Still trying but no joy unless I am caught up in "the forest for the trees" syndrome. White Bear's renderer analyzer sees it and plays to it however.
Does that fact that Chromecast is wireless and the computer that I have MC on is connected via both Ethernet and wireless at the same time possibly have anything to do with it?

Wireless and wired. Make sure Media Network is on. Double check the details.

Prior to installing BubbleUPnP the appropriate version of Java must be installed (see BubbleUPnP instructions, OS dependent). After BnP is installed open it to configure the CCA as a DLNA renderer.
I did this over the weekend on a laptop running Windows 10 x64/MC x64 and it worked perfectly. The CC shows up as a zone.

The Chromecast Audio has suddenly begun to function. I wish I knew what I did (or didn't) do to make it work but why look a gift horse in the mouth? Thanks to everyone who offered assistance and advice!

The connection to my Chromecast Audio works, but after playing one track it will not advance to the next.
Edit - oddly my Google Home, also set up as a DLNA Renderer, will advance to the next track.
