How?
How Many Files Do You Have In the Library?
Does It Do The Same With A Smaller Amount Of Files In A Play List?
Have You Updated Your Video Driver?

-
did you try to:
1. Reboot your computer
2. Then reinstall the latest version of media center?
if you go to media center, select help and click on system information, and post that information in your next message.

When you say a hard reset, what do you mean exactly?
Do you mean you have to terminate MC from the taskmanager
or do you mean you restart the computer?

Hard reset
A term used to describe the process of either pressing the reset button on a computer or peripheral, or pressing and holding the reset button for a few seconds. This is called a hard reset because the user is physically pressing the button instead of resetting the computer or peripheral through software.

If you are having to do a hard reset as defined by KingSparta, then
it may be a hardware issue. Could you provide more information
on what happens? Can you still move the mouse, or bring up taskmanager?
ie Does Windows completley freeze?
-
i canīt do anything after it freezes. no mouse movement , no taskmanager, just the music is still playing
-
That sounds like a driver problem or a hardware issue.
In the FAQ on the MC12 board, there are some links to tests for hardware issues.

It sure does.... ::)

I wonder if reduced Desktop screen resize, and or reducing the desktop colors, Refresh rate may help him\her?
reducing the colors sometimes helps when video controllers are having problems, controllers with shared memory on the mother board are also not a ideal situation.
