Title: Reinstalleld Windows10, restored library from back up and DLNA is broken :(
Post by: PrinterPrinter on August 10, 2020, 03:39:00 pm
Hello people,
I have MC 23 on my Win10 acting as a music server and I stream to an RPI, used to run MC on it then switched to Moode player (mainly for Airplay/Spotify integration). DLNA worked fine, until I reinstalled and it's broken.

I checked with streaming to my iphone with JRemote and it doens't play either, I see the track names and can skip them but it won't start playing.

I tried setting it up again or changing the settings, I can't figure it out. Please help?

Thank you

You might want to check the Windows Firewall. Also you can try disabling media network then re-enabling it, and see if the prompt for the Windows firewall pops up to allow it.

Thanks, I checked it and it seems fine, what's the file I should enable, jrmc.exe?

Thank you!

Look for the Windows Defender thread on the MC26 board.

Actually,
I just checked and even on the server the tracks don't play even though they all show (the files) and I didn't move them from their original location (jut restored the library...) Is there a way to rebuild the links? So not a firewall issue

Thank you
