Title: Could someone tell me how to delete songs on my iPod?
Post by: kathy3023 on October 30, 2008, 01:54:59 am
I don't use iTunes (and I don't have it on my PC, thank you very much), I just use Media Center.

Any help, much appreciated.

If you just want to delete all songs, you can connect to mc, right click on the iPod under device and initialize the Ipod.  You can also select all the songs in the Ipod (from MC after you click on the Ipod device in the tree) and right click to delete the songs all at once.  Either way works.

With two weeks under my belt, my question seems so basic, it's almost embarrassing.

1.  Connect the iPod.
2.  Select it under devices from the menu/tree on the left; that brings up everything that's on the iPod.
3.  Click on the song(s)/video(s) you want to delete and right click to delete, or select delete from the Edit menu.

That's it.

It's amazing how simple something seems when you know how to do it.

Thanks John for your answer.
