Title: Setting correct media format for ipod

So far, under MC, when I transfer video to my ipod (30 GB 5G ipod video, though MC thinks it's an ipod Nano, though the space available shows correctly), everything shows up as a "movie" on the ipod. The ipod has categories for TV Shows, Music Videos and Video Podcasts, as well as movies.

Is there any way to get MC to set the correct ipod category when syncing? It is possible to load up itunes and change them to the correct categories, but I'd rather not use itunes (actually, I'd rather not even have it installed).
