Title: JRemote Playlist Creation - One Button Press/Mistake? Short press vs Long press
Post by: b0br0ck on June 22, 2020, 11:03:36 am
Hi,
When creating playlists using JRemote is there a way to change the way songs are added using iPhone or iPad?

At present I 'long-hold' the song I wish to add/select, which brings the options up, 'add to playlist' or 'play now'.

The problem I have is that I might be creating a playlist 'on-the-fly', but if I incorrectly 'tap' the song rather than 'long-press' on the screen the whole playlist disappears and the new song starts. Which is a real pain if you've created a long playlist.

What I'd like to see is similar to iPeng remote for squeeze-box, where before choosing songs for a playlist there is an option to decide whether you want to your next selection/song to be added to the current playlist at 'top, next to play, bottom'. That way a single button press on my iPad/iPhone device won't destroy an on-the-fly playlist.

If this feature already exists, could someone please tell me how to set it up

Thanks
