Title: Problem with one CD being recognized in the CDDB
Post by: abramovs on August 09, 2002, 07:31:45 am
I inserted a CD in my computer and the MJ CDDB look-up couldn't find it (no surprise, its an audio book).  I update the CDDB database but everytime I stick the cd into my computer, MJ still refuses to recognize the CD.  I cleared the CD datalist in MJ and deleted all entries out of my cdplayer.ini with no luck.  Also, I didn't have this problem for the 5 previous discs in this book  (8 discs total).   Can anyone think of what I am doing wrong?  Or, dare I say it, is this a bug?

thanks.

After You Enter The Info Wait 72 Hours For CDDB To Activate Your Info You Submited.

It Must Be Reviewed First By Gracenote To make sure it is filled out correctly.

Not necessarily.
I have one CD and entered it into their database and even after a month it still does not come back. It was an audio CD (not copy) and entered it also through other software. And asking Gracenote is a waste of time. They coudn't give me an answer.
